SUCCESSFUL APC LOGISTICS WANGI WEEK MULTIHULL REGATTA

The 2014 Wangi Week Multihull Regatta came to a successful conclusion on Friday the 21st of November with the full schedule of races completed except for the Invitation Race which was abandoned before the start due to high winds.

Our club will be hosting the NSW State Heron Championships on the weekend of 22 & 23 of November.We expect between 30 & 40 boats to compete with 5 races over the two days. Racing will start at 12 noon Saturday and 11am Sunday.more

BARTS BASH 2014

30 Boats participated in the first Barts Bash Regatta held at Wangi ASC on 21st September. The weather cleared on queue and the fleet was greeted with excellent sailing with a 10knot SSE breeze and sunny skies. Prizes included many items donated by Artemis, Team NZ and Oracle racing. FIRST RKR FOR 2014_2015 ON SAT 27th SEPTEMBER

The first RK Robertson Interclub Series race for 2014_2015 is to be held on Saturday the 27th of September to be sailed out of RMYC Toronto.

LOCAL BOAT LAUNCHING STRATEGY

The launching of boats around the Lake’s foreshore takes place at formalised sites that provide purpose built infrastructure that support boating activities (boat ramps), and at sites with little or no improvement (local boat launching sites).
This strategy is also available for comment by the wider community, therefore members of the Club may wish to review it and possibly comment on it.....more
