PASSING OF EARLY CLUB MEMBER SID (SYDNEY) WOOD

Sid passed away on the 2nd April, 2014, aged 98.

Although he hadn’t sailed for many years his heart was always with sailing.
His life was celebrated at Lake Macquarie Memorial Park, Ryhope.

Mexican Night 2014

Over 80 WASC Sailors and families turned Mexican for a night of Mexican food prepared by the world renowned Chef Stephan, assisted by The Social Committee, following last Friday's Tom Crowley Sundowners race.

There were six courses with a variety of fillings and sauces, followed by dessert, so no one left with loose fitting clothes...more

CENTENNIAL COAL YOUTHSAIL LAKE MAC 2014

Centennial Coal was again a generous sponsor of the 2014 Youthsail Lake Mac Regatta held on Sunday the 9th of March.
44 boats participated giving large fleet racing experience to youth crews not only from many clubs on Lake Macquarie but also further afield from Newcastle, the Central Coast and Sydney.
